I have an Overland library with a DLT7000, driven by a NetBSD 1.3.3 with
amanda-server-2.4.1p1, I'm very happy with it:
4:21PM up 319 days, 5:05, 1 user, load averages: 0.11, 0.13, 0.13

backup about 10-15G per day.
