Hello,

I have three WebGear Aviator cards to save me from lots of Ethernet cabling.
However, the wireless network barely works - obviously due to the thick brick
walls (several of them) between the computers. The Aviator cards have a
built-in antenna which cannot be moved to a better place from the computer.
The Aviator cards only work at 1 or 2 Mbps, so they are less than perfect
speedwise, as well.

What kind of cards should I get for better reliability and performance?
I was told that some Nokia cards have a detachable antenna and are reasonably
priced, but I don't know if they are supported by NetBSD (and I haven't
actually checked the price myself, so they might not be so cheap, after
all). I have a gateway machine which would have one of the cards and
the other two would go into my laptop and another desktop machine.

Thanks,

  -jm
