Please calm down and reread the thread. My point has been just what
you note above, that NO ONE apart from those privy to the discussions
had any idea what the result was. Yet many (read the thread please)
around here felt it was all already settled.

Obvious to you maybe, but I'm stumped! What is my ulterior motive? If
anything, I am one of the few around here who can legitimately claim
to not be engulfed by zealous partisanship for *either* NetBSD or
OpenBSD.
