NetBSD's SMP stuff is still in development.  I heard it works, but the
patches are still experimental and not yet in the source.  I believe Linux's
and FreeBSD's SMP code is much more mature than NetBSD's.  Maybe Bill
Sommerfeld or Jason Thorpe can shed some light into this, since they've done
lots of development for i386 MP.
