Has anyone else had the experience when running mouse-pppoe that they
must delete the default route that is added, and re-add it with a
forced smaller mtu? If I don't do this, many operations fail (eg, cvs
update to sourceforge) with the failure mode being a tcp packet with
1440 data bytes being transmitted several times with no ACK in
response.

Are people using mouse-pppoe, or is everyone using the
tux/penguin/whatever it is pppoe? (I'm using mouse because it seemed
simpler, and it didn't involve those pesky penguins).
