Demand Dailing - have had this working on my NetBSD/VAX-1.3.2 machine for about
a year now. Add the following to your peer config file:

demand
persist
idle 300

This will tell it to dial on demand, stay loaded after disconnect, and kill the
link after 5 minutes of inactivity. You might also want to put in "holdoff 5"
which tells it to redial every 5 seconds if it can't get connected.
