Does the card actually work? I think folks got these messages when
Ethertalk (or MacTCP) was active under MacOS. Apple left some nice
trinkets in the ethernet card. So if the card actually works, just
go for it.

Another thing to try is looking at the card itself. Look at the number
on the largest chip.

Ok:	8390, 83902

Bad:	83932 (a different ether chip, should probe as sn0)
	68000 (means that there's an on-board CPU - we dont'
		support them yet).
