Well I'm stumped. I have been all over the web site and ftp server and
cannot seem to get a hp300 booting diskless. I nfs mount the root and
the swap and get right to the point where init should be running and it
just dies. All I can do is ping it from the local ethernet.

I notice that a bunch of documentation mentions SYS_UBOOT but all I
could find is SYS_NBOOT. Is this the same thing? I appear to be
well past that point anyway.

Another possibility is that perhaps the GENERIC kernel can't do a
diskless boot. There is a config file for DISKLESS but until I get
this working I can't build it. Catch 22. Can someone out there
with a hp300 compile a DISKLESS kernel for me, please? Just email
me with details of where to pick it up by ftp.

Any other suggestions gratefully accepted.

Thanks.
