What's the story on these devices?

After doing some reading, they seem to have potential since they are PPC
based, have a PCMCIA memory storage device and the rest of the hardware
looks fairly straight forward.  Given it would have to be a diskless
workstation, but that was efectly what they were.

Has anyone ever look at these as a possible port?
