I don't think they are.  Aren't the MVx000 series machines Eclipse
descendents?  IIRC the Eclipse was vaguely along the lines of a 32-bit
PDP-8 or -12, given its heritage (from the Nova, which was a 16-bit -8
clone built by people who didn't get on board the -11 architecture at DEC).

I thought all the 88k machines were called "Aviion".
