KatanaMe, Inc. is a new, privately-held Silicon Valley startup
technology venture based in San Carlos, California, USA. KatanaMe's
exciting, patent-pending technology plan is confidential and
unannounced. Our team has a proven track record and is working in
the area of wireless communications and mobile systems.

We are looking for an experienced Unix Kernel Engineer/Consultant
to help port NetBSD to new platforms and enhance the operating
system for diskless operation. A minimum of 5 years of Unix kernel
and driver development experience is essential.  Knowledge of the
overall working of the kernel is important.  Applicant should
understand the principles of device abstraction.  Understanding of
filesystems and network stacks is a plus.  The ideal candidate
enjoys bringing up new hardware.

Required:

5-10 years Unix Kernel development experience, preferably *BSD.
Proven track record developing device drivers.
Fluency in the C programming language.
Solid understanding of virtual memory and memory coherence.
Ability to analyze complex problems.
Good design and documentation skills.
Excellent diagnostic skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
