In xconsole I run from my ~/.xinitrc
I see the following messages.

I login to the system using xdm which is enabled
by setting xdm=yes in /etc/rc.conf.

Is something wrong with NetBSD's xdm?
It is from NetBSD's xsrc.

   login: 
   NetBSD/i386 (chen.chizhovka.net) (console)

   login: Oct  8 00:00:36 init: getty repeating too quickly on port `/dev/console', sleeping

   NetBSD/i386 (chen.chizhovka.net) (console)

   NetBSD/i386 (chen.chizhovka.net) (console)

   login: Oct  8 00:01:10 init: getty repeating too quickly on port `/dev/console', sleeping

   NetBSD/i386 (chen.chizhovka.net) (console)

   ... these messages are repeated infinitely ...
