You can adjust /etc/mailer.conf to point to the pkgsrc-binaries or
adjust /etc/rc.d/postfix as shown by the install message of postfix.

But beware, it speaks of /etc/rc.conf.d/postfix which should be
/etc/rc.d/postfix
