This is a netgear wg511v2 card and when plugged in causes a kernel panic,=
 the
usual something like missing slot on cardbus0.

The netgear wg511t is supposed to work.  I guess that these cards are qui=
te
different ??? (never seen the 511T).

This panic problem has been with us for a long time... any way to prevent=
 the
panic and just issue a message???
