Is there any chance someone can create an alias or symlink for ndc which points
to this new rndc command?

Changing the name of the control program is a horribly bad idea that should be
corrected, just as the renaming of ntpd -> xntpd -> ntpd was a similarly
disruptive set of changes that got fixed by resuming the use of the original name.

If rndc is not upwards-compatible with ndc, is there anyone with the ISC lurking
around with whom I can request or suggest a more sane approach to releasing new
software versions? :-)
