Hi list,

Having fallen in love with the wonder that is NetBSD, I'd like to use it
to replace the Linux installation I currently have on my PVR box=20
(old x86/P3 machine).

That in mind, can anyone recommend the path of least resistance to
getting some semblance of TV-Out working? The machine currently has a
Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 in it (which I appreciate ain't going to work
whilever the proprietary Nvidia drivers aren't ported to NetBSD and
nv-tv-out is Linux only anyway and doesn't support it).

I'm willing to buy a new vid card if someone can recommend one that
can drive TV-Out via X.org/XFree on NetBSD 3?

On the software front, my plan is to continue to use Freevo and Mplayer=20
(both of which are reported to work great with NetBSD).

Cheers!

Rob
