The CDROM has hanged after cdparanoia had problems with
a certain CD out of 12.

dmesg says this...

piixide0:1:0: piomode timed out

...about a zillion times.

Short of rebooting, can I re-set my CDROM? Is there some
command I can give so the CDROM will come back online?
