I can't use my Maxtor OneTouch II usb drive under both 2.0 and current.

When I plug the disk I have those kernel messages:
Oct 19 17:25:27 sirius /netbsd: umass0 at uhub2 port 2 configuration 1
interface 0
Oct 19 17:25:27 sirius /netbsd:

bytes/sect x 586114704 sectors

I can't mount it:
# mount -t msdos /dev/sd0d /mnt/usb/
Oct 19 17:26:19 sirius /netbsd: sd0: fabricating a geometry
mount_msdos: /dev/sd0d on /mnt/usb: Invalid argument

Does someone know if this is supposed to work ?

I'd like to backup sensitive production datas hosted on a 2.0 box
on a large removable media (usable from other OSes).
Any advice on a solution would be appreciated; I can buy some hardware.

Regards,
Thierry.
