Hmm... While your .xsession doesn't starts WindowMaker, it looks good
and you should see at least three xterm windows and xclock.

So I'm have few more questions:

1) How you have enabled graphical login?
2) What is contents of your ~/.xsession-errors file just after
unsuccessful login retry?
