Subject: Problems getting NetBSD 2.0.2 to identify onboard VIA based NIC.

I am installing NetBSD 2.0.2 (amd64) on an Abit AV8 motherboard with
AMD64 CPU. I am having difficulty getting NetBSD to identify the onboard
NIC. I believe NetBSD's vge driver should support this (correct?) but
it could be a chip revision or similar that throws the detection off?
Do i need to load a kernel module?

Any clues, hints or tips welcome.
