Sorry, one more note. The Compaq docs report the external connector on the
ML370 as being of type:

Subject: Cabling/controller support

I have just purchased a new Compaq ML370 G3 server. I am migrating from an
old Prosignia server running V1.5 to this new server running 2.0.2. The old
server has a HP Surestore DAT24x6 external drive. This drives enclosure has
a Cent50 style connector (the one with the wire clips to hold the connector
on). The back of the ML370 case has a high density connector connected to
the 2nd channel on the internal SCSI adapter.

Is there any way I can use this drive on the external port ? This would be
the only thing on this SCSI channel, all drives are using the other port. I
have found this cable, does it look like it would do the trick ? Is there
problems with the Ultra320 having 16 unit support and the older style SCSI
only 8 ?

If not, what kind of check SCSI card can I purchase to run this drive. It
has to be PCI64 since the new server only has these PCI slots. The old PCI
card cannot be re-used as it is only 32bit.

Thank in advance.

Scott..
