Hello,

netBSD is my first install of any *nix. I'd like to use my DSL, but I'm
too painfully ignorant.

I can follow the directions at

http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/network/pppoe/

and everything works. But I can't actually use lynx or anything. I
noticed that it doesn't matter what I put for authname and authsecret, I
get the same positive result.

Where can I find an explanation, a walkthrough, or a book?

    Thanks sincerely,
      John B.
