I had a similar issue time ago. Try removing the /emul/linux/home directory,
if you're lucky the program tries to open the /home directory.
Another possible solution is to
ln -s /emul/linux/home/whatever /home/whatever
(of course you'll have to move the home first, and you might be against the
idea of an home directory into /usr!)
