I read that PostgreSQL now runs on both Unix and, ahem, that
other OS. This would be version 8.0 which, over there, no
longer requires CygWin at all.

This being the case, I'm leaning toward abandoning MySQL in
favor of PostgreSQL. But the current package for PostgreSQL
for NetBSD is at version 7.4.

I know it's only been 10 days. So this is not any kind of
complaint. Just wondering if it's in the que to update the
package to 8.0 anytime soon? Has it been suggested? Or ought
I be the one to do so?
