hello folks,

my NetBSD/i386 2.0 freezes while it does massive cvs operations like 
src/pkgsrc checkout or any cvsup.

given that i never experienced this type of trouble in 1.6.* i guess that the 
root of the problem is FFSv2.
the computer hardware was not modified nor upgraded and i dont think
the ram is corrupted.

i compiled a MYKERNEL kernel after adjustkernel and no other changes
to the GENERIC-conffile but it didn't bootstrap.
i compiled a GENERIC kernel, but it didn't boot, too.

any suggestion will be appreciated,
