I just took the plunge and converted my workstation to
amd64 last night using the same motherboard that you used.
It looks like the sk0 device configures, using the netbsd 2.0 install and
generic kernels, but that it has issues with the phys. ifconfig sk0 showed
that no carrier was present, even though the 100BaseTX cable was live, so I
just worked around the problem with a geniune tulip card.
I believe the rc files don't try to configure any interface that doesn't have a
carrier, so that could be why the interface wasn't configured.
After upgrading to -current, whatever problem existed with 2.0 was
gone- it sees the carrier and the device works fine. I'm sorry, but I'm not
qualified to comment on what may have changed, etc...
