Well, I'm going to blame my failure to read the following:

	"The upgrade to NetBSD2.0 is a binary upgrade; it can be
	quite difficult to update the system from an earlier
	version by recompiling from source, primarily due to
	interdependencies in the various components."

On the fact that I'm 7 timezones out of synch with myself.
Ignore the previous question.  I'll deal with upgrading when I'm
back in the same physical location as the machine and can deal
with a binary upgrade.
