Huh.

I thought that I looked through mplayer's docs and the pkg
DESCR for "realaudio" (case insensitive).

When I try this, though, I get:

Requested audio codec family [racook] (afm=realaud) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Requested audio codec family [racookwin] (afm=realaud) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Requested audio codec family [racookmac] (afm=realaud) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Cannot find codec for audio format 0x6B6F6F63.
Read DOCS/HTML/en/codecs.html!

Their documentation seems to imply that these codecs are only/mostly
for 80x86 systems (binary only downloads, mostly MonopolySoft and
"Linux" (unstated CPU)).

...but at least it gives me another option, as I can have an i386
do the streaming and have it (I assume) decode to a .wav file for
handling elsewhere. Thanks! If you know of a way to make this work
without an i386, that would be even better. (^&
