I have bought an IBM R50e ThinkPad. I had very good experiences with
NetBSD on a T21 ThinkPad at my previous job, and as I could get this
machine at a bargain, I couldn't resist.

However, I am having a little trouble getting it to sleep. I am so far
just using the NetBSD 2.0 i386 GENERIC_LAPTOP kernel, and I get the
following message in dmesg:
apm0 at mainbus0: bogus 32-bit code segment start
apm0: kernel APM support disabled

Google gave me no clues to this problem.

Another thing. I believe the machine supports hibernation, but as I have
never had it booted into Windows (I installed NetBSD 2.0 right away) I
think I may be missing the necessary hibernation partition. Can somebody
clue me into how to create it?

Any R50e users out there with experience to share? Custom kernel
configurations and XF86Config would be most welcome.
