Good guess.
Ethereal shows me that the cient is requesting the group.byname map.
I'm really confused about that. I don't see the point of this request:
how can a purely local account be in a group exported by the yp server?
Moreover I don't see how I can prevent my NetBSD yp client
to freeze on login when the yp server goes down;
AFAICS the only thing I can do is kill ypbind, but I need a root console
to do that :(
