Here's how I do it:=20
pkg_tarup -D /path/to/someplace_other_than/tmp \*=20
I regularly build on one system, or a chrooted environmnet,
and copy packages to another. Sometimes in my haste, I forget to add=20
DEPENDS_TARGET=3Dpackage=20
to /etc/mk.conf and I have to use pkg_tarup as in the fashion shown above.=
