hello

installed a backups 650 and it has a serial link
which connects the ups to the netbsd 2.0_BETA.
apcupsd is launched and linked to /dev/tty00 where
the ups is. to test it, when i disconnect the
serial cable it should detect the cable is off,
but nothing happens. worse : with the serial
cable unplugged i can even use apcaccess status
and get a reply as if the ups was still connected
while it is not (strange ?)

anyone got some experience using serial link
between netbsd and ups units ?
