hi nic,

do you really *need* gfx for that?

if not, there are several ways to achieve talking to a serial connected=20=

device. for me

'tip console' (e.g.) works fine. please take a look at /etc/remote=20
before using this, you might want to customize one or more settings=20
(i.e., some cisco, smc stuff etc. use some weird settings such as 19200=20=

baud per default etc.).
