Fixed.
I use enlightenment as my window manager, and the e16keyedit utility to
map ALT-SHIFT-N to 'open an xterm' etc.
I must have made an editing error in there last time, and ended up with
an entry that remapped my '0'. Deleting the entry solved the problem.
