Since roughly kde 3.2.2 (possibly 3.2.1) x11/kdebase3 won't package. its PLIST 
contains four files that don't install:
lib/kde3/kdesktop.so
lib/kde3/kxkb.so
lib/libkdeinit_kdesktop.so
lib/libkdeinit_kxkb.so

As near as I can tell it's because there are only static versions of libXss 
and libxkbdfile.

If shared versons exist
- where are they?
- why aren't they in the xcomp set with the static versions?
if shared versions don't exist
- ... well ... what the h@ll have I done wrong now? (I know you can't answer 
that, but that's what I want to know.)

Crying in the wilderness again (Sorry, but i've found that reporting problems 
with packages, through any channel, is pretty futile.)
