I pinged both DNS IP's earlier(not from netbsd box) and both responed. 
I'll try to ping my default gateway in a few minutes. What about my 
domain name, shouldn't it be in the resolv.conf file as well? 
Currently my resolv.conf file looks like this; 
domain      theswamp.org 
nameserver  65.32.1.65 
nameserver  65.32.1.70
