This has been mentioned a few times on the tech-pkg list.

freetype was recently updated. Maybe this package needs to be fixed for
it, or maybe you need to update your pkgsrc.

I think they were fixed 11 days ago (in www/mozilla/patches) by adam.

By the way, I am working on updating scribus to latest release version. I
need faster build machines.
