Hello all,

I've mailed this to netbsd-users before, but no response, so I thought
maybe netbsd-help would be more appropriate.
This flag is something I would really like to get to work! Here's the
original message:

Can anyone tell me why the command
$ vi -c "set wl=3D72"
will not work as expected?  (`:set wl' shows `wraplen=3D0' and I expected i=
t to
say `wraplen=3D72', as the manpage seems to say it should.)

If I also supply an existing(!) file on the command line, the file opens,
with wraplen set to 72 (correct behaviour) and the cursor on the last line
of the file (incorrect behaviour, if you ask me).

I observed this behaviour on 1.6.1 and on -current, using nvi.

Am I missing something here or is this a real bug?
