I've been trying to install NetBSD 1.6.1 on a VDT (very dumb terminal), =
that
is, it lacks display, vga adapter, and even serial console, so, =
obviously, I
can only use the keyboard and another machine with display in order to =
see
what I at least might be doing. After two attempts which did not manage =
to
provoke any reaction by the VDT I tried to just reboot the machine by =
using
the key sequence "d - enter" after having waited long enough to be
relatively sure that the installation menu is presented. Again, no =
reaction.
So I suppose something went wrong before. Maybe the kernel won't boot
without vga1 configured? Has anyone got further hints?
