I really don't know how things are working.
$ grep -E 'sendmail|postfix' /etc/rc.conf
sendmail=NO sendmail_flags="-bd -q30m"
postfix=NO
$ ps -aucx |grep post
postfix 17206 0.0 0.1 148 400 ?? S 11:04PM 0:00.03 pickup
postfix 28336 0.0 0.1 224 436 ?? S 9Mar03 2:36.69 qmgr
Perhaps I started it manually.
