Hi,

Is there an easy way to change temporarily the number of 
spaces to which tabs are expanded on the terminal in 
NetBSD i386?  What about on other platforms?  

I seem to be having trouble finding where tab expansion is 
documented.  Could anybody point me in the right direction?
