We are trying to make a tunnel using the 'gif' device between two laptops (NetBSD-1.6 OS) running wireless (dhclient=YES) with the details shown below in the figure.

                               tunnel
            laptop A------------------------------laptop B
 real IP's: 10.0.1.20                             10.0.1.30
 fake IP's: 10.0.2.1                              10.0.2.2

the 'gif' device looked like this for Laptop A:

     tunnel inet 10.0.2.1 --> 10.0.2.2
      inet       10.0.1.20 --> 10.0.1.30

the 'gif' for laptop B:

     tunnel inet 10.0.2.2 --> 10.0.2.1
       inet      10.0.1.30 --> 10.0.1.20

     After doing this, when we try to do a ping through the tunnel, its not working. Also tried several other combinations like interchanging the tunnel's fake IP's with the real ones but nothing seems to work. can someone help us out??

Thanks
Pritesh
