I am installing NetBSD/i386 v1.6.1 on a Dell Latitude C840 laptop.
The GENERIC_LAPTOP kernel reliably hangs the machine during the boot
process. However, removing only the agp device

	  #agp* at pchb?

from the config file enables the boot to complete and everything
(including X11) appears to work fine.

Has anyone else observed this behavior?

Any suggestions for what this device probe might be doing to the
machine are welcome.

Thanks.

Cheers,
Brook
