To know whether or not you could load NetBSD on it, you'd need technical
data.  I read the link and the "data sheet" but didn't find anything about
the processor or RAM.  My guess is No, not without hardware hacking.  I
mean, how will you intercept the boot?  

The built-in functionality loads no software from the server.  It won't
attach to a samba share, and even if it did it there wouldn't be any
application to talk to it.
