Hi,

That's easy, /usr/sbin/inetd is in your path, so it's not /etc/rc.d/inetd
which is executed but /usr/sbin/inetd. Since "start" is an invalid
argument for /usr/sbin/inetd, it logs the message.

Just run ./inetd start
