Try using the netbsd fdisk to change the type of the last part of
the disk to 'netbsd' (169).

It sounds like some M$ sw has decided to disbelieve the non-M$
partition type.
Hopefully it didn't also decide to do its destructve disk test.

Of course, you should be able to recover the data from your
system backups :-)
