Hallo!
I'm afraid that I'm at least a little bit in trouble.
Until yesterday I had a working Dualboot system W2k/NetBSD on one
hard disk with 4 primary partitions:
W2k System
W2k Data both NTFS
a FAT32 partition for data exchange
the NetBSD partition
Today I added a second hard disk to this system and used the
microsoft management console for creating and formatting some
partitions on this new disk. I also formatted the W2k data
partition with it.
The problem is now that I can't no longer boot into NetBSD.
The NEtBSD boot manager starts, with F1 I can start W2k but the F4
button for NETBSD brings no result.
I booted with the 1.6.1 CD and when I look with fdisk on the old
disk, there are only the 3 Windows partitions present. The last part of
this disk is marked as unused.
Is there any change that I can boot the old installation?
Or is it possible to install a new installation on the new hard disk and
then access the files on the old installation. I'm interested in some
config files and all the dist-files for compiling pkgsrc.
Ciao , Frank .
