Following the 1.6.1 INSTALL document there is a message to move the
old a.out shared libraries from /usr/lib and /usr/X11R6/lib to
/emul/aout.

First, how do I identify an "a.out" library from an ELF library?
Do I just go on anything older than April 2003?
I don't want to end up with an unbootable drive.

Second, That would take up a lot of space on my root partition so I was
going to make a link from /emul to /usr/emul. is there any harm in this?

TIA,
- Roger
