hi guys,

i recall a conversation here, where someone advised not to install
packages as root... how can i handle this, as directories where
installed software and information is stored are usually owned by root?
(/usr/pkg, /usr/pkgsrc, /usr/X11R6/, var db) i think that changing owner
/ write permissions for all these isn't good idea... any hints/advices?

regards,
lubos
