Hello,
how can I dispose of a Meta key (e.g. the Alt key) and have 8bit
characters (e.g. \"a in TeX notation) at the same time when using the
bash in wsconsole?
I tried this in my ~/.inputrc ...
|set input-meta on
|set output-meta on
|set convert-meta on
... to be able to input Umlauts, but then I'v no meta key.
I've NetBSD 1.6, a binary package collection for i386 (6 CDROMs, I
guess the official ones), downloaded and compiled the kernel sources.
In terms of X, my keyboard is a XkbModel "pc105" (I don't yet run X
under NetBSD, it's just to explain what kind my keyboard is of).
Regards
Thomas
